What Can Hypnosis Help With?

Hypnosis has the power to help you with much more than you think. It’s not just for stopping smoking or weight loss (although we do a lot of that too). Our highly effective hypnotherapy sessions can help you with a whole range of emotional, mental and physical struggles.

Hypnosis has been used for therapeutic benefit for thousands of years. It is a totally natural method, which allows the client to achieve a very pleasant relaxed state, enhancing awareness. During hypnosis, the subconscious part of your mind is open to positive suggestion, enabling the client to achieve their desired behaviour modification. Like wise the hypnotic state also enables the therapy to uncover and thus remove the causes of deep rooted emotional problems such as anxiety, phobias, panic attacks etc..

Hypnosis is a natural state of mind. Often referred to as an altered state of consciousness. During hypnosis, one is calm, relaxed and peaceful. You are not asleep and there is absolutely no question of being controlled. You are aware of the whole process albeit in a deep and pleasant state of relaxation.

Hypno-analysis

Also known as analytical hypnotherapy, this is probably one of the most effective therapies in the world for treating emotional and anxiety related problems. It is used to discover the cause of the emotional or psychological problem as opposed to merely treating the symptom. Hypno analysis can be briefly summarised as the doctrine of cause and effect… every effect ( the symptom) must have a cause. Hypno-analysis reveals and thus removes the cause and subsequently releases the symptom.

Hypno-analysis is not only one of the most effective therapies, it is also one of the quickest and one can be confident that symptom release will be obtained, usually between 6 and 10 sessions of analysis.

The object of analysis is to bring you to a “moment of surprising and liberating enlightenment” and we are talking about a complete and lasting release by finding and removing originating causes as opposed to mere control of symptoms by suggestion.

If you suffer with any of the symptoms listed, than hypno-analysis is the therapy for you. There is no reason that you should have to put up with any of these problems. A course of hypno-analysis can be life changing. For a real insight into yourself, there really is no equal.

Clinical Hypnosis

Also known as suggestion therapy, this is primarily undertaken for behaviour modification. Whilst one is in the relaxed state of hypnosis, positive direct suggestion is passed into the subconscious part of the mind.

  • Will I Tell You Something I Don’t Want You To Know?

    No, you remain in control the whole time. If there is something that you prefer to keep private, then that is your choice.

  • Can I Get Stuck In A Trance?

    No, it’s impossible to get stuck in a trance. You can open your eyes at any time during the session, ending the hypnotic state immediately. Sometimes clients feel so relaxed that they feel a little reluctant to end the sensation but they never stay in a trance.

  • Are There Any Side Effects?

    No, there are absolutely no negative side effects from being hypnotised. It is a perfectly safe and natural way of using your inner resources to reorganise your thoughts and behaviours to bring about beneficial change. After the session you will feel very relaxed but it’s completely safe to drive, operate machinery or anything else.

  • Surely A Stage Hypnotist Can Control My Mind?

    No. If someone volunteers to be hypnotised by a stage hypnotist they know what they are letting themselves in for. They know they are going to be made an object of fun for entertainment purposes but they are game for a laugh and happy to go along with it. If someone was dragged out of the audience against their will, then whatever the stage hypnotist tried would not work.

  • Will You Be Able To Control My Mind?

    No, this is a common misconception. Hypnotherapy is all about you having more control of your own mind, so the client is the one who has control. Nothing will be said to you under hypnosis that is not for your benefit but if you didn’t agree with anything, your mind would just reject it.
